Mobility products ad featuring topless women breached decency rules

The offending announcement by Mobility & Lifestyle, that sells mobility products such as on foot sticks and stairlifts, featured five women wearing ice skates, miniskirts and Father Yuletide hats.
Above the women, who lonesome their breasts with their hands, was a pretension reading: "We"ve got some-more than twenty-five per cent off all (yes everything!)."

The watchdog inspected the complaint, statute that the advert "had the intensity to means critical offence", and banning it from being published again.
In a matter the ASA said: "We deliberate the picture of the women was not intimately pithy but was intimately suggestive. We remarkable that it had no aptitude to the products sole by Mobility & Lifestyle."
The content was a "crude comparison" in between the singular wardrobe on the women and the cost rebate and the picture had "clearly been selected for that reason", the watchdog said.
The Coventry Times pronounced the announcement was published in error, and that as shortly as it was speckled by the Advertisement Director it was private from alternative titles it had been due to crop up in.
